Friday: Indications are very uneven for this morning's employment report. A seventh straight contraction in payrolls, no matter how small, will increase talk of second-half recession. But a bounce higher, as some are expecting, would firm up confidence for growth but also raise new talk of Federal Reserve rate hikes.
